Due to the nature of the works, Project management and Quantity Surveying degree required. Manage the administration and delivery of professional service and construction contracts.
This will include all aspects of the project life cycle from managing the procurement process, and the review and implementation of tenders. Through to design development, community and stakeholder engagement, and ultimately construction and delivery. Possessing a combination of strong stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills, you’re able to articulate what needs to be done in a clear and succinct manner. You are a team player, that thrives in a fun culture. Required Skills – Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications 7 years’ experience, with 3 years minimum with a Main contractor in Australia Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment Consulting with Architects, Engineering Professionals and other professionals, and Technical and Trades Workers Negotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Preparing tenders and contract bids operating and implementing coordinated work programs for sites ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety arranging submission of plans to local authorities building under contract, or subcontracting specialised building services overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work Formulate monthly client claims arranging building inspections by local authorities Continuous business development.
