Sous Chef Mount Isa, QLD Hospitality - Full Time Salary - $55,000 - $65,000 Overlander Hotel has a vacancy opening for a Sous Chef. We are looking for an experienced and qualified candidate to join our team. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Cooking, preparing food and carrying out general kitchen duties Deliver to our customers highest quality of premium service Preparing new recipes, estimate costs and order food supplies Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Working with a team of kitchen staff Manage other employees in the kitchen Adhering to food safety Should be able to work unsupervised Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate an advantage Shifts may be split and weekend work is standard Punctuality and reliability is essential May train staff when necessary Liaise and work with the head Chef Desirable Qualifications and Skills: Diploma Level Qualification or equivalent is a minimum requirement At least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above Hands on experience working as a Chef Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Ability to work in a team Applications via email: julieirvinhotels.
