Fitzroy location, close to CBD & public transp Challenging and rewarding work environment Ongoing training and development opportunities About the Role This role involve a 6 month rotation to the Vascular department and 6 months on the General Surgery unaccredited roster. You will provide day to day clinical management of patients under the care and direction of the Director of Vascular Services to ensure a high quality of patient care. You will undertake administrative duties for the Unit under the direction of the Director of Vascular Services and the Clinical Department Head to ensure that the Unit is run efficiently.
Other duties include: Training in procedural work relevant to sub-specialty interest Participation in-patient and out-patient activity relevant to sub-specialty interest Participation in clinical meetings Supervisory support of the interns and residents Hours: 1 EFT (43hrs /- overtime) Closing Date: 25/06/2021 Classification Range: HM25 - HM30 ($119,542.8 - 164,538.40) Contract Start Date: 07/02/2022 Contract End Date: 05/02/2023 Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience applying medical knowledge towards sound clinical diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients Demonstrated effective communication with patients, relatives, staff and colleagues Classification of PGY4 or greater Full working rights in Australia Hold current AHPRA registration & hold an MBBS or equivalent Hold a current, or willing to undergo a satisfactory National Police Check and if required a NDIS Check at your own expense.
