Position Overview: Lyndoch Living Allied Health Services has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Exercise Physiologist to join our exceptional and innovative multidisciplinary team. Full time or part time applications will be considered, and Graduates are encouraged to apply. The primary objective of the Exercise Physiology role, is to deliver discipline specific interventions in a safe and effective matter, that: is best practice, goal directed, tailored to individual needs and optimises the health and wellbeing of the consumer.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social/Welfare Work, Podiatry and Allied Health Assistance and takes pride in delivering goal focused, consumer directed services to groups and individual adults in a supportive and caring environment in our modern and purpose built Allied Health Centre or in the consumer’ home environment. Allied Health Services delivers a number of government grants across Disability, Aged Care and Health. Allied Health Services at Lyndoch Living is a registered NDIS provider.
Key to Sucess Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Registration, or evidence of working towards Commitment to providing services to older and young people with disabilities Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of person centred care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across client, community and professional groups. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, motivated and to manage time effectively, including caseload management, meeting deadlines, maintain schedules, setting goals/objectives Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
A current Victorian driver’s licence.
