Registered Nurses We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our High Dependency Unit in this Permanent Full-Time opportunity About the Role: The role can involve working in HDU with opportunity to further develop knowledge and skills in this particular area. Our 12 bed High Dependency Unit cares for a wide range of patients including coronary care, medical and post-operative patient who require closer or invasive monitoring. The Cardiac Cath Lab supports a number of Interventional Cardiologists from both local area and visiting specialist from Melbourne, providing diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as cardiac rhythm management.
Providing for a unique opportunity to gain sort after experience in this specialised area. This role includes night and weekend shifts. Essential Skills: Current Registration with AHPRA A minimum of 3 years post registration experience in ICU or HDU Ability to plan, assess, co-ordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients; Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills; Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required; Understanding of scope of practice; and Sound written and verbal communication skills.
Current certificate in Advanced Life Support Desirable: Relevant post graduate qualification Remuneration: $33.23 - $46.67 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
