Purpose of the Role: The role of Integration Manager is responsible within the Rail Systems Alliance (RSA) for the assurance of the establishment of the overall new operation of the Pakenham East to Sunbury Corridor by ensuring that the scope and project objectives achieve a best for project outcome. A key responsibility of the role is bring to the project the experience and knowledge of a CBTC implementation and share that knowledge in the development and implementation of the assurance framework, ensuring that the internal and external stakeholder’s roles or deliverables are effectively managed.
Key responsibilities: Development of Assurance Framework including ensuring alignment with RSA scope, objectives and the management of key stakeholders expectations and objectives. Oversee from an operational integration perspective for each of the project delivery streams on the status of the: System design; System’s Integration; Safety and accreditation; Operational Integration: Training; Stakeholder Management; and Testing and commissioning activities. Implementation of the Assurance Framework across various stakeholder groups Managing stakeholder relationships through conducting regular workshops with the various stakeholder groups to gain acceptance of the Assurance Framework and the associated operational integration activities Development of the strategy to satisfy the requirements of the development of the Goals Structured Notation (GSN) Qualifications & Functional Knowledge Tertiary qualifications in Transport Planning, Rail Operations, Engineering, Safety, Railway Safe Working qualifications or other disciplines acceptable to MTM or similar rail operation.
Demonstrated experience in managing CBTC into operation in a brownfields rail environment Demonstrated experience in assuring the activities within a CBTC project lifecycle from requirements through to operational integration Experience in managing a wide range of stakeholders.
