Video Conferencing & Audio Visual Technician
We are currently on the hunt for the next member of our AV team to help support our existing customers and assist with new installations across Melbourne. The right person will be motivated, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment. They will take pride in their work, operate with a high level of professionalism and be capable of delivering high quality installations.
Experience working with Crestron, Kramer, Extron, biamp, Cisco, Polycom and Dante is preferred. Knowledge of professional audio visual systems as well as cabling experience and experience working with hand tools is essential. The role will include plenty of upskilling and education opportunities through online learning and attending hands on training with some of the industries leading manufacturers.

Job tasks and responsibilities The core responsibilities of this role are as follows (but not limited to): Audio visual hardware installations & service Front-line solutions implementation and delivery for users with 'state of the art' technology Installing and commissioning meeting room audio visual and video conferencing systems including programming and commissioning of DSPs, Crestron/AMX/Extron control systems etc Performing remote support for network connected hardware and software and onsite support and routine maintenance when necessary Skills and experience The right person will possess the following skills and experience: - previous experience working with AV systems - previous cabling and installation experience - experience using power tools - take pride in their work - possess a strong ability to communicate and work with colleagues, customers, suppliers and contractors - have good problem solving abilities and excellent attention to detail - are keen to learn on the job and be open to upskilling and further education relating to new products, services and technology.
