Sustainability Consultant

Job duties for this role: Environmental and sustainability data analysis and interpretation skills relating to both qualitative (e.g., stakeholder opinions) and quantitative (e.

g. life cycle assessment and greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting) data. Knowledge on topics such as circular economy and resource recovery, sustainability procurement, key initiatives to decrease environmental impacts, stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting, climate change and roadmaps and implementation of sustainability strategies.

Life cycle assessment modelling in adherence to relevant national and international standards (ISO 14040 and ISO 14044) and the use of the software SimaPro. EPD development in adherence to relevant national and international standards and programs (EN15804, EnvironDec and EPD Australasia). Requirements for the achievement of Green Star’s credit 19 and ISCA’s resource credits using LCA.

Essential criteria: At least Bachelor Degree At least 2 years relevant working experience Excellent analytical skills (including Microsoft Excel expertise), report writing and attention to detail. A confident nature and be excited to work for some of the most significant infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand. An appetite to develop industry networks and cultivate your business development skills with support from the Edge team.

The ability to lead business development activities by identifying potential clients and projects, meeting with clients and preparing proposals for new work or variations to current work. Key holder attributes: Foster a positive environment for collaboration and strong team dynamic. Attention to detail regarding client needs, possible solutions and relationships.

Willing to be cooperative and participate with your colleagues to enhance the Edge culture. Willing to travel as required. Salary: Salary will.
