Primary School Teacher
Approved by the French Education Ministry and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), the Lycée Condorcet of Sydney (LCS) is looking for a Primary French School Teacher for a full time contract starting as soon as possible. About the role In this very demanding, complex but exciting context, we are looking for a team member willing to embrace the French-Australian work culture of our School and be involved in the School Project built around our students’ success and wellbeing. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Education service Teach the NSW and French curriculum to students in primary school (Preschool to year 5 or from Maternelle to CM2) Teach within the framework of the fundamental principles of the French and Australian educational systems with high standard expected Embrace the French-Australian work culture of our School Service for student success Know the student, their learning processes and take the diversity of students into consideration through differentiation Accompany students in their learning trajectory whilst respecting their individual needs and acting as a responsible and ethical teacher Stay up to date on, and applying, new pedagogical approaches School community Be a positive member of our community and collaborate with others in accordance with the school values Engage in individual and collective professional development training sessions and participate in staff meetings and duties (including supervision or sports duties, attending school camps and excursions…) Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace About the ideal candidate 2 years minimum of experience teaching as a Primary School Teacher Fluency in French and minimum B2 level in English language Teaching, CAPASH diploma and experience as a teacher with students with special needs and an experience in FLSCO Understanding of the French education system, especially the primary curriculum (Titular teachers from the French education system will be prioritised) Ability to work as part of a team, be efficient, flexible and have excellent communication skills This is a full time role with a base salary of 81k to 115k per annum (depending on the profile) super.
