Store Manager (Full time 38 hours/week) Khans IGA is a leader in the Independent Supermarket industry. We are passionate about our customers, and about the communities that we work within. We are seeking to employ a motivated/experienced Store Manager at our supermarkets. The primary role will be to managing all aspects of the store - employee management, increase sales turnover, gross profit and customer satisfaction by adopting best practice procedures. Job Description: Organise and control the operations of all aspect of the store Accomplished people management skills in performance management, conducting investigations, procedural fairness and impartial judgement.
Controlling selection and supervision of staff Managing budgeting and maximising profits in a sales environment & maintain statistical and financial records Demonstrated ability in stock management and merchandising Oversee pricing, product mix, stock control and service standards Preparing promotions, displays and advertise the business’ goods and services Manage inventory across multiple categories and departments to minimise shrinkage Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions Implementing purchasing and marketing policies Lead, develop, train, and motivate customer focused employees & manage staff across various departments Deal with customer queries and sales achievement Understanding and compliance of all company guidelines and OH&S Required: At least Diploma Level Qualification and 2 years relevant work experience Strong operational management experience in a retail environment Must be available to work weekends Proven problem solving and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and change oriented environment Ability to build the business and minimising loss Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
