About the Project McConnell Dowell is the constructor within the Western Program Alliance (WPA) which forms part of the Victorian State government's ambitious level crossing removal program.
The Alliance brings together the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), and Arup and Mott MacDonald as design partners. WPA was formed in 2017 and following the successful completion of several major projects, is now focused on delivering the level crossing removals at Werribee (Werribee Street & Cherry Street), Hoppers Crossing (Old Geelong Road) and Cranbourne (the Cranbourne Line Upgrade), as well as developing future works projects. Your Opportunity We are currently seeking applications from qualified planning professionals to join us in the position of Junior Planner .
You will be responsible for assisting the Planning Manager and Senior Planner in managing, planning, and scheduling functions for the projects. As Junior Planner, you will be accountable for: Assisting in development of construction program as per master program, project work plans, and reporting in conjunction with other departments Assisting in development of performance measurement metrics including Earned Value and associated controls Assisting projects develop and maintain periodic internal and client progress reports Identifying likely technical improvements and methodologies where appropriate Assisting other business units of the company as required Providing assistance in bid proposals, tender preparation and estimating Requirements....
