HEP 8, $100,005 - $112,619 per annum plus 17% superannuation contribution. About the role Work as part of our People & Culture team and lead our Recruitment and Reward Advisors and Consultants to deliver effective recruitment and appointment guidance and advice that positively impacts Victoria University’s employee experience. This role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to bring their innovative and contemporary recruitment practices and apply them to create our talent attraction model of the future.

You will have a deep understanding and experience in creating talent pools that attract a high quality and diverse workforce, one that is representative of the student population and community partners we serve and supports our diversity and inclusion initiatives.You will be a self-starter, known for your ability to solve problems, lead complex programs, influence and negotiate effectively especially at a senior level.

Duties The purpose of the Manager – Recruitment & Reward is to provide overall management of recruitment, appointments, executive and senior staff remuneration, job evaluation, and remuneration benchmarking services within People & Culture. The incumbent will work closely with the People & Culture senior leaders. Key duties you may perform will include: Provide specialist advice and support to senior leaders and managers about attraction, recruitment, appointment, remuneration and benefits for senior positions and negotiate packages with candidates.

Manage the Recruitment and Reward team to build an environment which promotes team collaboration and develops the team’s capabilities to successfully deliver high quality, effective services. Work effectively with P&C Business Partners, to provide subject matter expertise, identify needs, provide education and resolve issues in relation to recruitment and appointment matters in specific business portfolios. Undertake evaluation of senior position descriptions using the Mercer CED framework and sit on senior selection panels.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and staff education to enhance performance.
