Warehouse AM Team Leader We are currently seeking AM Warehouse Team Leaders available for an immediate start working for a high-profile transport and logistics client based in Canning Vale.

e Sunday double time $59 per hour Potential for a full-time role for the right person MUST be able to pass a current national Police clearance MUST be able to pass drug and alcohol tests MUST be physically fit MUST have strong pick packing, forklift and high reach forklift experience. To be successful in this opportunity, it is essential that you have: Experience in warehouse operations within the transport industry Infrastructure and/or equipment management experience Direct staff supervision experience Knowledge of warehouse systems and computer skills. Paperless WMS would be desirable Good understanding of legislation applicable to the workplace and ability to act in accordance with (but not limited to) OH&S guidelines, duty of care responsibilities, chain of responsibility legislation, drug & alcohol policy, all client workplace policies.
Strong communication skills and be well presented Excellent attention to detail Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team RF scanning, voice picking, forklift and high reach forklift experience Self-motivation and a quick learner A current driver's license with a reliable vehicle Have two contactable references Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for: Maintaining an efficient and productive warehouse team which ensures the clients contracted outcomes are achieved in the most timely and cost-effective manner Effective utilisation of all allocated resources Communicating with and supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in developing and improving warehouse procedures and operational results. Effective rostering of warehouse resources to deliver the most productive outcomes for the client Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the development of warehouse personnel to ensure effective succession planning. Tasks lists for key reports should always be updated.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all site personnel are trained and competent to perform task/s and that records of those competencies are well maintained and up to date. Recognise and reward safe behaviour. Ensure all hazards and risks are identified, evaluated and controlled in accordance with client Safety Policy and Procedures and any client requirements.
