Associate Director - Technology Risk and Program/ Project Assurance

About the Team Our leading Program/Project Assurance practice is growing to meet an increase in demand from our varied and well-known clientele. We provide real-time and prospective advice to Senior Executives on potential risks and issues at either key points in time, or through a continuous and ongoing assurance role during the life of a program/project. We have a unique team culture, in that our team members having a strong sense of purpose for what they do.

We take pride and deliver excellence in the programs/projects that we are engaged on, which are at the forefront of what is happening across various industries. As a result, we are positioned in key strategic roles to assist, shape and guide key transformation programs. Due to the success and growth of our Sydney technology practice, KPMG now have opportunities at the Associate Director level to join our team.

Your New Role Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle, while providing performance management for IT risk and assurance staff. Write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients, and review documented procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects. Provide oversight and leadership to engagement teams regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management.

Support proposal and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing / presenting proposals. You bring to the role The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to understand key ICT project implementation phases. Key to delivering successful outcomes will be the ability to provide practical, pragmatic and implementable advice.

The ability to rapidly analyse and provide real-time advice is essential, as timeliness is critical to this service. Skills and experience required include: A strong platform of experience in the delivery of IT Audit, Risk and Assurance engagements, including assurance over major transformation projects. Top-tier professional services experience and demonstrated client service excellence.
