Role and Responsibilities As a member of our world class Cloud Operations team you will bring your expertise in monitoring, infrastructure, systems architecture, including mean time to resolution of any and all issues that may impact our customer-facing production environment.

Responsibilities will include: Trouble-shooting and proactively managing highly technical system issues. Operating and contributing to automation and management systems: Puppet Ansible Capistrano Jenkins Operating and provisioning into cloud environments: Oracle Cloud, OCI, OCI-C Azure AWS Operating and contributing to our monitoring and alerting stacks: Nagios Prometheus Metrics Logfile parsing and analysis Work proactively with remote data centres around the world, with a focus on security and stability. Maintaining systems such as: Active Directory LDAP WSUS KSplice Space Walk Preparation of reports for operational and management purposes.

Pro-actively contribute and support the team and Oracle. Provide rotational oncall support for all global regions. Qualifications and Education Requirements As a member of the Aconex/Oracle Cloud Operations team you will need sound knowledge and experience in: Experience working in Agile teams, using Scrum or Kanban Golang, Python, shell and other programming language skills an advantage.

Experience running large Java/python/ruby applications. Exposure to system management monitoring and alerting tools: Nagios Prometheus PCP Extensive experience and knowledge of the Linux operating system in particular Red Hat, OEL. Solid and modern source control practices, including Git and merge request flows.

Good analytical skills for troubleshooting problems, especially from remote locations. Ability to listen and communicate clearly with different areas of the business An understanding of production management process such as ITIL and CMMI Virtualization Experience with Vmware ESX, or Linux based solutions. Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server Operating System and Microsoft SQL Server.

Sound knowledge and experience of TCP/IP networking and experience with Linux based firewalls, routers and IPSEC VPN systems. Exposure to Cisco switches and the IOS operating system. System and Network security practises and disciplines need to be demonstrated.

Willingness to proactively engage in continuous process improvement. Be a self-starter wit.
