Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Ocean Reef Senior High School Home Economics Assistant Pool Ref IPS/SS700084 Level 1/2, $27.69 - $32.22 per hour (EA (Gov) GA 2021) Advertised Vacancy Number IPS/SS700084 Appointment Pool Ocean Reef Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to establish a pool of Home Economics Assistants for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2022.
Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2022. The role of the Home Economics Assistant will include assisting the teacher in the delivery of planned education programs, assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment by maintaining equipment, materials and resources for use in classes, undertaking regular cleaning activities as directed and assisting the teacher with the care and supervision of students. Computer literacy is highly desirable.
As the Home Economics Assistant you will ideally have a proactive, positive approach to your role and will be able to work well autonomously as well as part of a team. You should also be able to prioritise tasks well, display initiative and be highly organised and efficient. Ocean Reef SHS is committed to ensuring every child is on a pathway to success.
