Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Joondalup Primary School Teacher - Primary Pool Ref IPS/TCH699858 Teacher, $72,137 - $107,049 per annum (SEA GA 2019) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH699858 Appointment Pool Joondalup Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Primary for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of Term 4, 2022. Suitable applicants will ideally have the ability and passion to work in an environment that has a major focus on quality teaching through high expectations that inspire and empower every child to reach their full potential every day.
They will implement school-wide literacy and numeracy practices, and social and emotional programs that meet the needs of our students. Specifically, the school uses Sounds-Write, Talk for Writing, and Friendly Schools, and Mathletics as an additional teaching resource. Suitable applicants should possess a strong capability to plan, present and assess differentiated, challenging and engaging teaching and learning plans.
You should have a sound working knowledge of Information Communication Technology (ICT) with the ability to integrate this across learning areas. Suitable applicants will engage and value weekly collaborative planning sessions to develop consistent learning programs that utilise whole school assessment data and to implement a range of teaching and learning strategies. As a Joondalup PS Teacher you should possess well-developed interpersonal skills and will foster meaningful relationships with students and their families and colleagues.
A willingness to take on additional roles beyond the classroom will be valued. You will be able to reflect on your own performance, contribute to staff development and support our distributed leadership structure. Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education.
