What you will get to do in the role Assist with the detailed design, configuration, and automation of Kubernetes (OpenShift) containers and associated applications; and ensure NFRs are accommodated.
Work collaboratively with project teams, solutions Integrator and SMEs to deliver end-to-end delivery from Development through to Production - including integration into other technology components. Develop infrastructure as code capabilities deploy on hybrid cloud environment. Ensure development of reusable and automated continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
Maintain knowledge base to support on boarding of future applications. Provide technical support to customers for hybrid cloud solutions, mainly Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Diagnose problems, troubleshoot customer issues, and develop solutions to technical issues.
Contribute to the knowledge database and skill development initiatives. Support multi-tenant OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters to industry standards. Assist developers and support teams to ensure issues are dealt with, in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, application development and platform architecture teams. Handle OpenShift/OpenStack/ Kubernetes platform incidents and requests in a timely manner. Assist with on-boarding, deployment of new applications and assist with application security scanning.
This role is suitable for applicants who wish to work remotely. The option for either a contract or permanent position is available. Skills we think the best candidate will possess Strong technical skills and experience in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, engineering, product administration, tuning, design in a large-scale Cloud environment.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work closely with customer architecture group, technical experts, and stakeholders. Excellent troubleshooting skills; passion for problem-solving and proven expertise in open-source technologies. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to stakeholders with various levels of technical details.
Experience building and running OpenShift/Kubernetes container-based solutions in large, complex enterprise environments. Experience with High Availability/Multi-site Infrastructure architecture/design. Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes containers.
