Gymnastics Program Leader

About Us PCYC is a registered charity whose mission is to empower young people to reach their potential through police and community partnerships. With 65 clubs across NSW, PCYC provides quality activities and programs in a safe, fun, and friendly environment. PCYC has over 70,000 youth members who engage in sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs.

PCYC also work with more than 1,500 at-risk youth per year to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, education and social responsibility programs. Your Next Role Reporting into the Club Manager of PCYC Orange and with the choice of working either full time or part time hours, you’ll be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on gymnastics and other programs, as required, across a number of PCYC clubs within the region. With a strong focus on recreational programs, your responsibilities will include: Ensure PCYC gymnastics programs are delivered to the highest standard and in accordance with peak bodies Develop, implement and coordinate internal competitions Recruit, train, support and develop gymnastics coaches Ensure coaching safety standards are met through supervision and support of coaches Ensure a safe, cost effective program by optimising the class timetable and facility usage Facilitate regular coach development workshops Co-ordinate and deliver school gymnastics program to local schools Identify and develop new programs to increase participation and retention Regularly liaise with peak bodies to ensure accurate information is distributed to gymnastics families Provide excellent customer to members, new customers and visitors to PCYC and the gymnastics club About You To be successful in this role, you will have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings or a combination of all, if required , in addition to the following: Intermediate or Advanced Coaching Accreditation Demonstrated coaching and programming experience from within the gymnastics environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills Strong networking and relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders and all members of the community Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with shared outcomes Current Working With Children’s Check and National Police Check, or a willingness to obtain Ability to occasionally travel to other PCYC clubs, as required PCYC Permanent Employee Benefits Salary packaging to increase your take home pay Enjoy generous leave entitlements PLUS a day off for your birthday Access to a range of discounts on everyday items such as groceries, clothing and health insurance Be part of an organisation that makes a difference in young people’s lives and builds community resilience by empowering young people in partnership with the NSW Police Force and your local community Apply Now Don’t miss this opportunity to become part of the PCYC Orange team - APPLY NOW Pl.
