Manager Executive Support - EL1

The Manager, Executive Support's core capabilities include planning, prioritisation, and collaboration, in addition to influential communication and an ability to manage a range of functions concurrently. Effective leadership and management of the Executive Support Team is critical to the role's success. Our client is seeking an EL1 Manager for a permanent position with this Government high profile institution.

S26 transfer available. The Manager, Executive Support will be energetic and motivated in their support of the Director to achieve strategic and operational objectives. They will be flexible, reliable and resilient; maintaining confidentiality and exercising diplomacy at all times.

The Manager, Executive Support's core capabilities include planning, prioritisation, and collaboration, in addition to influential communication and an ability to manage a range of functions concurrently. Effective leadership and management of the Executive Support Team is critical to the role's success. A background in one or more of the following is desirable: senior executive support, secretariat services, complex correspondence / report writing, administration, and team management.

Skills/experience required: - Demonstrated experience in the provision of high level support to senior executives and in the management and delivery of effective executive support services. Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, direct and lead a team to achieve organisational goals, including experience in managing resources and budgets. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic corporate governance, compliance and planning activities.

Strong analytical, planning and advisory skills, combined with innovative and creative problem solving skills, to effectively manage conflicting priorities and deliver successful outcomes. A positive and professional approach at all times, pre-emptive thinking, sound judgement and resilience with a proven ability to produce high level outcomes in both autonomous and team-based activities. Excellent communication skills, including experience in the preparation of complex documentation and correspondence and the ability to manage relationships across a diverse organisation and stakeholder groups.
