Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for inventory management practices to ensure the timely and safe delivery of goods and services, and the effective storage of Visy’s largest portfolio of spare parts.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support operational efficiency and drive business profitability. You will be an energetic team player driven by outcomes who will effectively manage the day-to-day while also driving improvements within inventory control. The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming goods Organise inventory items in an orderly manner to ensure accessibility is optimal Complete all daily job requests to assist the Maintenance team in meeting schedules Support stocktakes biannually and where required Adhere to Purchasing procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency when sourcing goods and services (considering safety, quality, service, productivity, running costs etc) Being available outside of standard hours to provide inventory support in the event of any breakdowns What you will bring to the team: Experience in Purchasing and/or Warehousing ideally in a manufacturing industry Current Forklift license is essential Advanced computer literacy with Intermediate Excel and Word ERP experience, SAP strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication, with proven ability to work autonomously and deliver in a fast paced environment Availability to work out of hours and support the team with coverage requirements When you join Visy, you’re joining a global leader dedicated to making serious progress in the sustainable packaging and recycling industries.
