About you Are you a motivated planner with a passion for events? Do you love to see an event come to life? As The Perth Mint's Officer Events & Engagements you will lead the planning, delivery and execution of a broad range of community-led initiatives, State and National conferences, as well as international networking functions and launches. With experience in implementing an annual event strategy you will have the drive, agility, organisational skills and attention to detail to continue positioning the Mint as an unassailable domestic and global brand. Experience Degree in Marketing or Communications Minimum 3 years' experience as an event planner in the resources and investment sector Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise a wide range of tasks while under pressure to ensure deadlines and milestones are met Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, communicate and problem solve effectively under pressure The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team Self-motivated and energetic with a can-do attitude Critical thinker with strong attention to detail High-level experience with Microsoft Excel About the position The position plays a pivotal role working with the company's business leaders to develop and execute high level professional events that align with the strategic and operational objectives of The Perth Mint.

Duties & responsibilities Coordinate the annual calendar of events, averaging to 15 events per annum. Event budget management and sponsorship negotiations with strong stakeholder management to ensure all business area objectives and exposure targets are met. Confidently liaise with event suppliers the world-over and with time difference considerations.

Develop deliverables for each event, including but not limited to, guest lists, invitation copy and artworks, booth messaging and artwork, competitions and giveaways, travel and accommodation requirements, risk and legal processes, and event artillery such as comprehensive run sheets. Event-based video productions to best articulate the company's message on stage or in booth Pre event communications to ensure stakeholders are across the progress during the planning stages. Post event reporting to stakeholders to review the impact of the event upon conclusion.

Adaptability toward changing targets, particularly around COVID event restrictions / cancellations. Maintain compliance of policies and procedures in relation to hosting events on and offsite. Manage the sponsorship register and all legal requirements and associated databases.
