Software Engineer

Our client Konze is close to finishing a full suite of products aiming to revolutionise the processes of the education and migration industry. The company is currently developing a CRM software and several other products which are at the ready-to-launch stage. The products have a wide target market and are uniquely designed to cater the needs of the industry.

The products are currently developed in India with highly qualified outsourced Indian talent. The products are designed in detail and are made with high quality standards. However the company has recently taken the decision to bring development capability onshore.

This will provide an advantage to incorporate necessary customer touchpoints, as the target market is operating in Australia. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop efficient, readable, maintainable code which adheres to the latest coding standards and practices. Assist in peer-code reviews, within and across teams.

Development and production support. Active participation and involvement in system analysis and design. Follow organizational standards of reporting, bug-fixing, acceptance testing.

To be considered for this role you must have: Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification plus at least 3 years (preferably more) relevant professional experience in an equivalent role. Strong working knowledge and expertise in: Technologies - Node.js, Express.

js, AngularJs, Asp.net, SQL Server, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS Server Functionalities - AWS (EC2 Server, S3 storage, RDS for Database) Familiarity with JIRA/ Agile development processes. Capabilities in the efficient designing and building of applications for performance and scalability.

Proven ability to create first rate documentation for client use. A strong team player with an ability to interact and communicate effectively within the team, as well as the stakeholders. Full working rights within Australia are mandatory.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualities Have strong problem-solving skills. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet stringent deadlines. Ability to innovate and provide a value-add to the business and the organization as a whole.

Have proven ability to work independently, or as part of a cohesive, respectful team. Having passion and high levels of motivation to learn. Be responsible for the team by demonstrating ownership qualities.
