Paris Go Bistro is a busy and well-established French restaurant located in Carlton. We serve a variety of French cuisines and wines. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
As our Restaurant Manager, your main duties include: -planning and organising daily operations of the restaurant services; -discuss with the owner/chef regarding special dishes of the day and customers' feedback on dishes prepared; -inventory check and arranging the purchasing of inventory; -keeping updated records of sales and expenses; -inspecting the dining area to ensure compliance with the heatlh and safety requirements; -making sure the dining area is always clean and presentable; -planning and organising large group bookings or special events; -reviewing, implementing and managing the guest reservations precess; -undertaking guests greeting duty in conjunction with waiting staff; -conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and services provideed; -selecting and recruiting new waiting staff; -arranging staff roster and assigning duties and motivate them; -supervise waiting staff and providing training to them on dining service; -reporting to the owner on the sales figures, business expenditures and any issues or problems of the business operation. Experience and skills: -At least a diploma in Hospitality Managment or Business Managment -At least 2 years proven work experience in a similar role -Knowledge of French cuisine -Fluent in both English and French -Must have full Australian work rights and be available to work full-time Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $54,000.00 – $58,000.
