Associate Nurse Unit Manager | Sub-acute
Senior leadership opportunity - progress your career today Ongoing training and development opportunities Permanent, part time - 36 hours per week About the Role Working together with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), this key position in the Geriatric Evaluation Management (GEM) Unit will provide operational, clinical and professional leadership to staff. You will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, safe and evidence-based nursing practice that support person-centred outcomes for patients and the well-being of staff. You will also: Actively manage portfolios as delegated by NUM Supervise and direct other staff as required in clinical practice Mentor or preceptor nursing staff to facilitate and nurture professional growth Classifications for this position will range from classification range ( YW11 - YW12 ($100,703 - $104,088 per annum) pro rata Your Contribution As a motivated Nurse and passionate leader, you will bring significant nursing experience as well as experience in care of the older person to the role.
Your strong leadership and communication skills will see you be able to direct and encourage an interdisciplinary team.
