Customer Service Manager

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER Kogan People Solutions is proud to be recruiting on behalf of the Australian arm of a global freight logistics company that specialises in the movement of cargo around the world, by sea and by air. Due to the high volumes of work being received from their growing customer base, our client now wishes to appoint a new, fulltime role of Customer Service Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring that their export customers receive consistently high levels of customer service at all stages of ‘the customer journey ’.

About the role Reporting to the National Export Manager, the Customer Service Manager (Export) is responsible for planning, administering, and reviewing the customer services relating to their export clients to ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfacti on. Location 35-37 Tullamarine Park Road, Tullamarine Tenure This is a full time, ongoing position. Responsibilities Work with the National Export Manager to develop and review service-related policies and lead the implementation of approved policies.

Develop and review processes and procedures relating to customer service to drive efficiencies and maximise customer satisfaction. Organise and implement processes for after sales service to evaluate customer satisfaction and identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement in services. Liaise with relevant Australian-based teams and (where applicable) global teams to recognise and address customer needs and expectations Provide leadership to the customer service team including day-to-day management, performance management and staff development.

Manage all key metrics and reporting for the Customer Service team to ensure optimal performance. To succeed in this role, you: Possess an Associate Degree, Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service management role Previous experience gained in the freight or logistics industry Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Previous line management experience (preferred) Ability to create, plan, monitor, and execute action plans High level of attention to detail and the ability to follow through with all work, and go above and beyond Have full Australian working rights What’s on Offer: The successful candidate will join a global network, spanning over 160 countries and 300 offices, offering a vast corporate organisation to grow and develop their career within. A competitive base salary in the range of $60,000 - $70,000 (plus superannuation) is on offer, together with excellent working conditions and a friendly, high performing team.
