Senior Consultant, Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

With existing workload and recent project awards in NSW, including projects in water and energy, our Communication and Stakeholder Engagement team is expanding. Here are some of the key things you will do, to help ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients: Provide Senior Communication and Stakeholder Engagement advisory and consulting services to public and private clients, primarily in the infrastructure sector Work with and lead multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement sustainable communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans across the lifecycle of projects and programs Develop and use a wide range of traditional and innovative communication tools Deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Communication and stakeholder engagement experience on large infrastructure projects is essential for this role.
In addition, to be successful in this position you will have: A passion for engaging communities and stakeholders, with experience in engaging communities impacted by significant infrastructure projects Excellent communication skills, including writing for a wide range of audiences and able to communicate complex ideas into plain English Ability to manage competing deadlines while delivering quality outcomes Love working as part of a team with a passion for client experience Experience working within an engineering and advisory consultancy Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication plans and community and stakeholder engagement strategies for infrastructure projects Experience identifying and managing community and stakeholder risks, issues and opportunities, responding to correspondence, and informing strategic decisions and actions Experience working with NSW Government agencies and in the infrastructure industry, particularly in energy or water Relevant tertiary qualifications in communication, social or political sciences is essential Be an IAP2 member, and have completed an industry certificate in engagement or public relations High competency with Consultation Manager and other community and stakeholder engagement information and management systems Be available to regularly travel to client offices or carry out communication and engagement activities in Sydney and regional NSW.
