Your Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious and self-motivated finance professionals who are interested in working across varied government projects. This role could see you support a broader team in: Financial and regulatory reporting Budget development and estimate preparation Technical accounting advice on new policies, business cases and infrastructure projects Interpreting international accounting standards for the public sector Automation of financial processes Financial data analytics Functional and efficiency reviews Integrated business reporting Writing board papers, reports, and proposals To be considered your qualifications, skills & experience could include: You have a passion for delivering innovative client solutions using your excellent communication and problem solving skills and experience in project management Relevant tertiary qualifications Relevant experience within the public sector or advisory firms Demonstrated experience or capability for working with government entities in the delivery of financial or budgetary management A commercial and analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to solve new and technically challenging problems, either independently or as part of a team Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and present your ideas with impact to clients and other key stakeholders Project management skills including experience or aptitude to work across multiple engagements Australian security clearance, or ability to obtain one – please note, Australian citizenship is required to obtain this clearance The KPMG Difference At KPMG, we’re passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity.
