QA Test Engineer

QA Test Engineer We are looking for a QA Test Engineer to join the solutions development team. The right candidate will be independent, driven and professional. You will take a collaborative role in our software development process and be responsible for the test design, execution and reporting processes and help deploy solutions to our customers’ workstations.

Responsibilities Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet stakeholder needs. Liaise with internal teams (e.g.

developers and product managers) to identify system requirements Monitor debugging process results. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Your Capabilities Strong understanding of testing process Knowledge of bug tracking systems Jira Knowledge of Test Environments Knowledge of QA Automation concepts Basic understanding of Agile methodology Critical thinker and problem-solving skills A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success Exceptional attention to detail Good oral and written communication skills Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries Desirable but not Essential Knowledge of Control Version Systems Git Programming and scripting skills .NET vbscript JavaScript Understanding of MS SQL and other databases Ability to write complex queries with T-SQL language Understanding of networking architecture Experience with CAD/PDM/PLM/ERP systems Knowledge of Xray, Jira, Gherkin, Postman, Jenkins, Selenium or other automated test tools Central Innovation is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
