Construction Project Manager

Sterling and Wilson Solar Australia North Sydney, NSW 2060 $105k -220k plus superannuation Construction Project Manager (ANZSCO: 133111) As a large organisation we have multiple opportunities at 3 levels within this classification of Construction Project Manager. Senior level designation position of a Project Manager / Construction Project Manager/ Project Director: $160k - $220K Medium level designation position of Project Control Manager/ Construction Manager: $130k-$160k Junior level designation position of a Project Planner/ Project Control Manager/ Construction Manager (Elec/Civil/Mech): $105k -$130k Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including with contractors, authorities and regulators as required Provide design guidance on construction through interpretation of design specifications Assume overall authority to co-ordinate and engage key staff within the project construction management team Monitor progress vs schedule and eliminate delay risks prior to delays occurring Collaborate with the construction team (particularly engineers) to ensure commonality in working towards targets Create and maintain strong relationships and clear lines of communication with key internal and external stakeholders Oversee the work of subcontractors to ensure it is of high quality in accordance with project requirements Act as a point of contact between subcontracts and clients in relation to construction progress Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all company policies and procedures. Developing and monitoring detailed project schedules Various level Development of Forecast schedule and monitors sequence of project operations for guidance of construction workers.

Review and help prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members. Evaluate and analyse with team risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them. Weekly progress and identity variance with respect to plan and taking action accordingly Resource planning and optimization Prepared the Project Execution Plan Development of budget and forecasts, monitoring of cost & cashflow Qualifications/Requirements Education: Relevant bachelor’s degree/diploma in Engineering Experience 8 years of experience in execution of large/medium sized EPC projects, in infrastructure / renewable energy / electrical substation transmission lines / Oil & Gas/ utility scale power projects.

IPMA/PMP/Project management certification and PV Solar eperience is highly desirable Skills Engineering and Project Management qualifications combined with relevant experience operating at this level, delivering similar style projects within solar/ power /EPC environment or renewable energy Strong contractor and contract management capability within solar/power/ EPC environment or renewable energy Proven track record of project oversight of project managem.
