About the role A unique and exciting opportunity to join us at Macquarie Government, to lead a high-performing team across our professional services practice which spans design, commission, migration, and transition of programs for our customers. Reporting to the Head of Operations in Macquarie Government, you will play a critical role in the overall growth and operational efficiency of the group. You will be a People Leader, seeking to support and enable the team and business to maximise the best outcomes.

About you As we pride ourselves in providing Australia's most secure and accredited data centers, we are seeking an individual who naturally seeks to exceed customers' expectations in terms of security, uptime, scalability, expert engineering knowledge, and customer service, with every interaction being superior to that of competitors. To be successful in this role, you will: Hold Tertiary qualifications - Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science Hold a minimum of 5 years experience in managing Project Management teams or leading professional services groups Technical underpinnings in business management, project delivery, and strong service management application of frameworks and processes.

Extensive experience within a Service Provider or Systems Integrator environment Solid commercial and contract management experience. Demonstrated leadership and staff resource management skills within an information technology environment, including people and operational management skills Experience in managing Professional Services (Billable Hours) resourcing, including tracking of achievement and utilization Demonstrated extensive experience and skill in designing, operating, planning, and administering IT infrastructure, including management of Networks, Servers, Storage, Security, and supporting Management Systems Demonstrated team management expertise to facilitate the achievement of efficient and effective results This role is supporting government clients - you either possess an existing government security clearance or are eligible for it, this means you need to be an Australian citizen. You will be joining a great team who know what they’re doing.
