With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment. The Care Service Employee will be located in our homely 101 bed facility in Tweed Heads and will be working 60 hours per fortnight. sccliving.org.au/our-services/residential-aged-care/find-a-community/st-josephs-residential-aged-care As a Case Service Employee, you will: Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids Assist in meal times and social activities About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support Experience in similar role in aged care Availability to work 60 hours per fortnight All PM Shifts, 2pm - 10pm A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in personal care Please note that from 17 September 2021, COVID-19 vaccination will be mandatory for all aged care workers working in residential aged care facilities, with a minimum first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine required by this time.
