Opportunity to work within an award-winning aged care provider Opportunity to lead and work within a high performing team Supportive and collegial environment We are currently looking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to work in our high care unit in Hunters Hill. This opportunity would suit candidates who are looking to work part time and full time. This key role will have you working closely with highly skilled and committed interdisciplinary teams including our Clinical Nurse Specialist, Deputy Care Manager and Executive Care Manager who pride themselves in delivering the highest standards of care to our Consumers.
Some key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Carrying out consumer clinical assessments and maintaining consumer documentation Supervision and development of Nursing Assistants (AINs) Promoting the Choice, Dignity and Wellbeing of all consumers Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with consumers, family members and staff Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Flexibility to cover various vacant shifts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor your staff Intermediate level of computer literacy Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards All offers of employment are dependent upon successful completion of the organisation’s pre-employment check process. This includes (but is not limited to) the requirement to be willing to obtain a Criminal Police Check, a NDISWC (only included for risk assessed roles), a 2021 Influenza Vaccination and by 17 September 2021, have received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 Vaccination. About You: You will be a team player, have strong clinical capabilities, be able to demonstrate initiative, have excellent interpersonal skills and have a genuine passion for working within the aged care sector.
