About the role The Systems Support Officers will be responsible for the following k ey duties: Provide high level ICT support and a high quality customer support services for Acacia Systems users through processing service tickets within required timeframes and relevant service delivery and security standards. Develop, maintain and follow standard operating procedures in line with business requirements. Action team administration functions of reporting, incident investigations, and updating knowledge articles.

Provide leadership and advice to less experienced team members (senior level). Interact and engage closely with peer frontline services teams and resolver groups to effectively manage and resolve tickets, build and improve the knowledge base, and share knowledge and information. Assist and provide backup to the Service Management lead (senior level).

Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience working on an ICT Service Desk and working within ITIL processes such as issue triaging, queue management, Incident Management, Service Request management, escalation and user access provisioning. Expert competency with tools of the trade including ticketing systems (preferably JIRA), call management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to information management and the protection of personal health information.

High level organisational and time management skills, and be able to prioritise tasks and work cooperatively with other team members, to ensure service delivery deadlines and priorities are met. Strong oral and written communications skills, including strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, to effectively liaise and interact with people from diverse cultures and professional users of critical-impact information systems. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful and innovative.

Desirable Skills and Experience: Knowledge of the roles and functions of the NT Government’s Department of Health and the Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or ITIL certifications. Clearance Requirements: National Police Clearance - Required Working with Children (OCHRE) - Required With the current covid-19 restrictions, local applicants are preferred .
