Our client is a boutique accounting firm based on the gorgeous Sunshine Coast, in Queensland. They have a dedicated team and an expanding portfolio of clients. They are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their friendly team.
About the role The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of client services by delivering a range of bookkeeping services to small and medium sized enterprises. You will be responsible for maintaining clients’ accounts, reconciliation and preparation of BAS, IAS, payment summary statements and other taxation requirements. The responsibilities will include : Maintaining the accounts of clients, and managing processes in relation to Accounts payable Accounts receivable Bank reconciliation Fixed assets Payroll Reconcile and prepare compliance reports, including BAS, IAS, Payment summaries and Taxable payments reports Manage the record keeping for clients P ayroll, employee related information on entitlements, Work Cover, new staff packs on policies and procedures Requirements 5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper Xero/MYOB experience Experience in public practice firm highly regarded Advanced excel Experience in on-boarding new clients Benefits Flexible work environment Gym membership.
