About the role: This is initially a 12 month contract assignment. This role leads and oversees the organisations creative in-house agency - this includes a team of 8, managing 4 direct reports along with work standard, client NPS and managing the commercial model. The Head of Creative will 'lead by example' and have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of creative, design, copy, and multimedia.
In this role you'll devise and oversee all creative concepts and strategies that align with the banks brand/marketing goals and will monitor their progress to ensure results are met. You will work closely with creatives, designers, copywriters and marketers ton develop and deliver engaging content. You'll implement creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that wants to make its way to the customers.
About the day to day: You will be working across different products sets to create compelling and creative ideas for brand and marketing campaigns that align with the marketing and business goals. You'll understand the target audience in order to highlight key selling points on the products and ensure the creative direction suits the customers You will continue to build on the brand identity by attending regular leadership meetings to understand the brand and marketing objectives You'll lead the in-house function effectively, the team are a high performing in-house agency function with a fantastic reputation across the wider business You'll present content and creative ideas to executives, collaborating across the business and being the 'go-to' for the in-house agency function About You: Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism and other relevant fields. Exceptional Leadership skills, you'll empower and support your team Ability to prioritize and work within tight timeframes with a positive attitude 10 years' experience with solid understanding of creative, design, copy, multimedia and web practices Good problem solver, with the ability make decisions and to pivot quickly across many moving parts Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
