Flexible working arrangements including negotiable option to work from home when appropriate for your caseload Multiple employee benefits and discounts across a range of companies & products Salary Packaging, Novated Lease arrangements In addition to annual leave entitlements, provision of one week of special leave Long Service Leave after 5 years As a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): Developing both Comprehensive and Interim Behaviour Support plans that meet NDIS commission requirements for the use of Restricted Practices for customers with complex support needs Provision of ongoing mentoring to Core practitioners. Provision of mentoring and coaching to Behaviour Support Trainees as part of Northcott’s Behaviour Support Trainee Program Completion of a variety of assessments for existing and potential customers to support Northcott’s Housing Pathway?? Use knowledge and practical skills gained through further study and practical experience to provide specialist behaviour support working in a variety of contexts.

Interested? This is what we’re looking for; Eligibility to work as an NDIS Commission approved Proficient Practitioner. A tertiary qualification such as Psychology, Social Work or other relevant allied health area Minimum three years’ experience mentoring staff to implement Behaviour Support strategies. Experience working with customers with a range of complexities using a Positive Behaviour Support approach.
