The Opportunity: One of the major technology innovators in the broader property & construction sector. Recent investment in modern inventory management systems, a continuous improvement culture, round tables and knowledge share between countries on a regular basis.
There are significant improvements to be made in the initial Inventory Manager role and then you'll begin to work closely with the Supply Chain Manager as his role shifts to a more global focus at around 6-9 months. Ultimately becoming his successor over time as he mentors you and invests in your growth. Your stakeholder group is diverse and the challenges related to your success are as much about influencing people as spotting the opportunity in the first place.
There is a long career path available here. In the past few years, hiring focus has shifted to more ambitious and progressive minds who can make a long-lasting impact. The Initial Remit: Management of inventory levels ensuring a >80% hit rate on orders.
Management of excess and obsolete stock to ensure a 10% YoY reduction. Management of product introduction and creation of new parts. Procurement of spare parts inventory.
Warranties for project material. Development of inventory KPI's. Support national sales and marketing teams to drive selling strategy.
Participation in spare parts council meetings. What we need to see from You: Consistent progression to date in your career. Qualifications - bachelors and post-graduate courses to further your knowledge.
Communication - influencing peers and executives Relationships - building, maintaining and educating. National or Global Inventory Management experience - developing and improving in a tough environment. Ambition - someone with a goal and a plan of how to get there.
