Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Professional, ICT, Government, STEM, Management and Executive talent Our client; a growing mining contractor, are seeking an experienced and switched on Recruitment / HR Coordinator to join their small but fast paced team for an ongoing assignment based in Perth's Northern suburbs. This role is fast paced and ideally requires someone with previous experience in recruitment within a blue collar / mining industry.
This client is very strongly focused on providing the highest quality of customer and candidate care so people skills and a passion for providing top tier service is essential Working hours: 8 hour days, Mon - Fri Start date: ASAP Start Duration: Ongoing - Opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate The Role Some of the key responsibilities of this role include: End to end internal recruitment managing the full spectrum of recruitment activities that meet the needs of the business and bring innovative ideas and experience in developing sourcing and recruitment strategies. Manage a number of requisitions at one time - including analysing and sourcing candidates, screening, scheduling interviews, reference and compliance checking Generating accurate employment contracts Ensuring all employee records are current, compliant and kept up to date Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Promoting the companies' in house training program Building and maintaining a high calibre talent pipeline and candidate pool Attending and contributing to toolbox talks Experience Required Proven previous experience managing a recruitment portfolio, preferably in an in-house recruitment role An established track record of successful high-volume recruitment within the mining industry (advantageous) The ability to build and maintain genuine working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail A customer service focus with a strong sense of candidate care and professionalism Strong belief and interest in creating a positive candidate experience Strong follow up skills Experience creating assessment tools to accurately determine the personal characteristics and suitability of candidates Experience developing and maintaining an active talent pipeline An understanding and uncompromising ability to deliver on customer and business needs while providing an exceptional candidate experience Strong diversity focus Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and recruitment systems e.g.
