Cultural Services Support Officer Reference Number: 13665 Salary Range: $66,550.35 - $71,531.64 per annum Location: Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre - Collins Avenue Applications Close: Sunday, 29 August 2021 Situated in a beautiful lush tropical setting & surrounded by the rainforest, we now have an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your customer service and administrative talents and experience.

We are now seeking a highly experienced support officer to provide administrative support and assistance to the Manager and Team Leaders across our Cultural Services teams. The individual we are seeking will be an a highly experienced administrator who is extremely organised, takes initiative and with the proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. You will also be a strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills, someone who is highy process driven, loves to be part of a team and with demonstrated skills & experience in the use of MS Officer programs at an advanced level.

The primary objectives of this role is to: Provide an exceptionally high level of administrative and business support to a diverse and dynamic team of arts & cultural managers, facilitators and creatives. Develop, manage and deliver processes that support a coordinated approach towards delivering Cultural Services corporate business support. To be considered for this role you will require: Certificate IV Business Administration or equivalent.

Suitable qualifications or experience relevant to senior administrative or clerical work. Current C Class Driver's Licence. Exceptionally high level of corporate business support and knowledge in a multi-disciplined arts & cultural environment or the demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire an understanding of arts and cultural corporate business support functions within Cultural Services and general Council policies.

Demonstrated competency in all office procedures. Demonstrated experience with computer software applications including MS Office- in particular intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint and financial packages, with the ability to quickly learn new computer applications. High-level oral communication skills including engagement, negotiation, consultation and supervisory skills and written communication skills including demonstrated experience in the preparation of briefing notes, reports, project and financial documentation.
