Trade Based Facilities | Operational Support | Subcontractor Management Static Site | Dynamic Environment | Diverse Role Integrated Solutions | Global Organisation | Southbank Location The Role The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day Facilities and Maintenance Trade operations with a particular focus on subcontractor coordination and supervision, contract/work order management and administrative deliverables. You will act as the conduit between BGIS, client, interfacing with subcontractors and ensuring that work orders are managed from inception to completion with compliance, critical KPIs and contractual obligations in mind. This role operates on a full-time roster with a requirement for on-call and overtime.
This role is based in Melbourne, VIC. Respond to reported issues and coordinate efficient and effective responses. Oversee the supervision and management of subcontractors including documentation, WHS, compliance and performance.
Manage and maintain all Reactive work orders, including allocation of work orders Schedule and supervise the Service Contracts to ensure that they are performed to the levels and for the frequencies as set out in the individual Service Contracts Schedule and supervise essential services and other statutory maintenance inspections and certifications. First point of contact for client enquiries Assist and contribute to the overall success of the team by ensuring operations are in line with KPIs and contractual obligation. Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience in a Facilities or Maintenance background, with a strong focus on managing subcontractor activity Knowledge in Electrical trades Experience in an integrated services and property model managing large-scale maintenance activities (any PPP experience highly regarded) Knowledge of building services and general building maintenance Confident Excel user with experience in Reports Foster and maintain positive working relationships with client, sub-contractors and suppliers Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible / innovative approach Culture At BGIS, we create safe environments where our people can do their best work.
