What you’ll contribute to Are you looking for a career change in 2021? An excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable Assistant to support the General Manager, People & Business Development, which will be in based in Altona North. You will be responsible for managing the office of the General Manager by ensuring they are optimally supported in all areas of their role. You’ll provide divisional support and manage key divisional projects, preparing key documentation and coordinating divisional matters on behalf of the General Manager.

You will be a natural multitasker with excellent interpersonal skills and have a diverse range of skills Please note this role will be until October 2022. How you’ll make an impact · Manage the GM’s schedule, coordinating appointments, arranging key executive meetings, conferences and travel to ensure their time is effectively utilised and prioritised · Maintain the day-to-day operational matters of the division by monitoring and coordinating all incoming and outgoing correspondence, providing advice on behalf of the GM where appropriate · Monitor expenses against budgets at divisional level and produce reports to ensure management can understand and control any significant costs · Ensure the efficient running of the office of the GM by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries, issues and escalating matters to minimise risk · Develop appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance accuracy, compliance, timelines and presentation of GM’s work in his managerial and management reporting function · Prepare complex documents and business presentations through research and discussion with the appropriate internal and external parties and requiring proficient integration of multiple office technologies · Coordinating divisional events and VIP visits · Be discreet in handling sensitive and confidential information by ensuring that this is managed appropriately · Coordinate international and domestic travel arrangements What are we looking for? · Degree qualification (desirable) · Experience in a Personal Assistant role · Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills · Advanced business acumen and administrative skills, with a strong ability to exercise sound judgement, prioritise and multi-task with minimal supervision. · Excellent reporting and analytical skills with high attention to detail · Strong learning agility, flexible approach to work and the ability to take initiative · Exceptional interpersonal skills – lead by example and maintain approachability to all staff with a proactive approach and passion for working in a fast paced and changing environment · Computer savvy with advanced Microsoft Office skills and paperless office techniques · Basic pr.
