Electrical Design DraftspersonBayside Personnel
Our client is an International Organisation with offices and manufacturing facilities in Australia (Western Sydney), U.S., Europe and Asia.
They are currently seeking an Electrical Design Draftsperson to join their busy engineering office based in Sydney western suburbs. This role is initially a contract role with view to permanent. The Role and Requirements Permanent position, immediate start.
5-10 years of local experience in Electrical Design Drafting. Excellent 2D AutoCAD, some 3D knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential. PC Schematic software experience would be considered high desirable but is not essential as training would be provided.
Good understanding of AS/NZS 3000. Ability to create Electrical Schematic, Single Line Diagram, Cable Schedules. Bill of Materials, and Cable Routing are all essentials requirements.
Previous Heavy Engineering and Manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. A positive, pro-active approach to work.

Skills and Experience A relevant tertiary qualification combined with equivalent training, accreditation and experience.
Well developed understanding of relevant Australian Electrical Standards AS/NZS 3000. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across multiple disciplines including colleagues and clients. Ability to accept change and ambiguity.
Ability to exercise well developed problem solving skills and use substantial initiative and judgement to work independently to meet objectives. Well-developed problem solving skills. Consistently produce accurate work.
Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback. Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills and experience. Able to work effectively on multiple jobs at the same time.
