NSW City Council looking for a Insurance & Risk Officer to join the team working across a range of policies Your new company A chance to be a part of local council making a difference within the community. Reporting into the Manager of Governance and risk, you will manage a portfolio of claims across various policies and assess risk management issues as they develop, minimising exposure to future claims.
Your new role Working as a Risk Management officer you will be; Managing the councils Insurance portfolio to ensure adequate protection Identifying risk management issues and developing strategies to minimise risk Investigating and evaluating evidence of claims and liaising with all stakeholders Reporting on current and future risk areas and assisting in presenting these findings Ensuring policy coverage is suitable and current What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have; An understanding of the risk management framework and risk prevention preferably within a local council Experience of the Claims process Data entry and MS Office experience An ability to understand and articulate complex scenarios Tech 1 risk experience (Preferred) What you'll get in return If you are successful in this role you will receive; A competitive hourly rate The chance to make a difference in the local community A full time role working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Initial 3 month role with the opportunity to extend or go permanent pending performance What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to me - connor.lavingtonhays.com.
