A new and exciting position for a skilled and talented chef has opened up. To be successful, you will need to have a diploma in this field or 3 years of experience in organising the preparation and cooking of food dishes in a dining setting and 2 years of experience in a relevant field. Duties include: - Be a master in your section with the intention to move, grow and lead the Kitchen and the staff - Planning and developing menus, calculating food and labour costs and determining food supplies to order; - Train and supervise others members of the kitchen - Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods grilling, baking, boiling etc.
- Knowledge of various cooking preparations skills such as deboning filleting - Monitor quality of dishes and stock and place orders when there are shortages. - Preparing and cooking food - A positive attitude. - Attention to detail.
- Leadership attitude. - Excellent physical condition and stamina. - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
