Argenton Hotel seeks a determined and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team. Focus on classic pub food and Italian dishes will be highly regarded.
The right person for the role will be a driven individual that enjoys the rush of a busy service and is adept at managing every area of the kitchen. You will be part of a small kitchen team and will lead by example in this varied role, executing a casual bistro menu. Please only apply if you fulfill the following criteria: Minimum 2 years experience Salary range 60k to 75K Previous chef/cook experience within a similar fast-paced environment The ability to run a smooth, organized service Team leadership skills Passionate about the end product Professional, polished appearance (for our open kitchen) A positive attitude At least Certificate IV in Cookery two years full-time experience OR four years of experience.
