Senior PHP Software Engineer

We are continually expanding through exciting acquisitions and are searching for the brightest talent to join our high-growth Company The opportunity We are looking for a highly experienced Senior PHP Software Engineer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they’re proud of and can hit the ground running. As a Senior PHP Software Engineer you will be responsible (not limited to) for contributing to technical solutions, writing clean, well designed codes, troubleshooting, testing and maintain our core product software to ensure strong optimisation and functionality. Not just that, you’ll also have the chance to guide others through hands-on engagement with internal mentorship, testing, and continuous integration processes.
Despite being a PHP role, you are someone who isn’t afraid to embrace new languages. In doing so, you’ll be able to build upon your skillset and be empowered to provide solutions outside of your role. What you’ll be doing Align with our Design, Engineering and Product principles to build product & technical solutions that drive customer value Contribute to a future-ready, high quality and performant code base Engage in technical discussion of new solutions and architectures Ensure that technical decisions support our goals of quality, performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security Share technical solutions and product ideas through documentation, design reviews, pair programming, code review and technology discussions About you Advanced knowledge of PHP and MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel) Experience in Relational Database Management Systems (Preferably MySQL) Demonstrated ability to write automated tests at multiple levels (unit, integration, e2e) Experience in an Agile environment Nice to have Experience with Node.
