Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners (BDHP) The Brisbane Diamantina Health Partnership includes South East Queensland’s leading acute and community health services, primary care, research institutes, universities and government agencies. Through the partnership, BDHP’s members seek to accelerate the translation of research and evidence into education and healthcare practices, with the aim of tackling some of the biggest and most pressing health challenges facing communities throughout Queensland. BDHP contributes, locally, nationally and internationally.
BDHP is also an active member and contributor to the Australian Health Research Alliance (AHRA). The alliance encompasses all nine National Health and Medicare Research Council accredited centres, providing leadership and collaboration at a national level, including system level initiatives which focus on building capacity in data driven healthcare improvements, community and consumer engagement and health system improvement and sustainability. BDHP’s role is to accelerate and enable collaboration through facilitation, communication and engagement across the partnership and with our stakeholders.
Involvement of communities, consumers, patients, families and carers, ensures solutions are based on knowledge and understanding of the specific challenges they face. Further information is available at: https://brisbanediamantina.com About this opportunity As Project Officer, you will play a key role in the delivery of BDHP’s clinical research and translation program of work.
This position will work across a number of BDHP’s work priorities providing project support, planning, and research. This role aims to explore current capability with BDHP’s partner organisations and carry out a small research project on the use of BDHP’s Research Passport Agreement. Additional general duties and responsibilities include: Provide high level project support for BDHP’s clinical research and translation program of work.
Undertake background research, environmental scans, and draft briefings utilising both qualitative and quantitative data methods, in order to support team projects. Undertake stakeholder analysis to contribute to the documentation of processes. Plan and deliver opportunities capability directory/inventory with regards to people and assets across the BDHP partnership.
The position reports to the BDHP’s Research Governance Manager and is located at our Herston Campus , UQ’s core campus for clinical health teaching and research. Our ideal candidate Alongside qualifications in a related field, combined with at least 4 years relevant experience in a similar role, our ideal applicant will demonstrate: Ability to manage and deliver projects in a timely and effective manner. Research and analysis skills, and the proven ability to draw upon diverse types of information to identify issues and make recommendations for actions.
