An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic clinician with a strong interest in and commitment to leadership and management. You will be part of a NSLHD District COVID-19 Screening Response Team and will ensure that we are able to provide ongoing COVID-19 screening for members of the community. Employment Type : Temporary Full Time until 31 December 2021 Position Classification : Nurse Unit Manager Level 2 Remuneration : $2276.
30 per week Hours Per Week : 38 Requisition ID : REQ230150 Where you&39;ll be working COVID-19 Screening Clinics located Ryde and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospitals. What you&39;ll be doing As a leader you are expected to support the organisation achieve the aims of the safety management system, to establish and maintain a positive health and safety culture in the workplace and to consult with workers and others when making decisions that may impact upon the health, safety and welfare of those in the workplace. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them. Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and be an Authorised Nurse Immuniser recognised by NSW Health, with relevant management tertiary qualifications, equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft applications, roster management and electronic medical records.
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in change management and initiating a new service delivery model within an established service. Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
