Assistant Manager - Valuations, Corporate Finance

Your new role The Corporate Finance team provides independent, expert advice so that our clients can maximise their business potential and ensure positive outcomes from their transactions.

Forming part of the Corporate Finance team, the valuations team prepare valuation assignments in support of transactions, financial reporting and other services across a diverse range of industries. You will work on varied valuation engagements including: Business and equity valuations; Intangible asset valuations and purchase price allocations; Advice to shareholders to support businesses transactions; Valuation of options and related derivatives; and Shareholder disputes and matrimonial matters. You will collaborate will colleagues across our various business areas and have the opportunity to progress your career in an environment where you will be challenged and mentored.

What you bring Ideally, you are a qualified Accountant, with at least 4 years’ experience working in a professional services environment. You have experience preparing valuations and are looking for a role that will support and develop this specialisation. You take pride in delivering superior support to clients and have added value to client reports with sophisticated writing and analytical skills.

Already armed with a baseline of technical knowledge in financial reporting, you can prioritise tasks and effectively manage conflicting deadlines, either working autonomously or as part of a team.
